Accounts Receivable Accountant – Solar PV

NB* This is a 12-month contract!

We need an AR Accountant who obsesses over the details and someone who double-checks their double-checks and doesn’t make mistakes.

The candidate we are looking for is a pro in SAP, if you need a refresher, this role is not for you. You need to have 3+ years of experience in a similar role and be ready to hit the ground running. Someone who can handle strict no-nonsense personalities with grit and determination. Your team is mainly based internationally, so you need to be a smooth “virtual communicator,” and if you can speak German or French, you will be the cream of the crop!

• Successfully completed commercial training or degree in business studies
• Experience in SAP R/3, S/4HANA in the modules FI and SD or similar ERP systems

• At least 3 years of relevant practical experience in accounts receivable or comparable position

• Accounts Receivable Management: Post incoming payments and maintain accounts receivable in the SAP system, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting
• Invoice and Credit Note Processing: Check and assign outgoing invoices and credit notes, ensuring compliance with commercial and tax regulations
• Financial Statement Support: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including verifying sales revenue realization and adjustments to receivables
• Tax Reporting and Returns: Prepare advance VAT returns, ZM, and INTRASTAT returns for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
• Cross-Border VAT Audits: Support VAT case audits for cross-border transactions, collaborating with the sales department, logistics, and external consultants
• Process Optimisation: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting ways to enhance workflow efficiency and overall productivity
